Attention to WCA Customers,
At WCA, our highest priority during the COVID pandemic continues to be the health and well-being of our customers and staff. In recent days, several of our residential drivers from our South Houston Hauling Division have been impacted by the COVID-19 virus. In accordance with recommended CDC guidelines, the helpers and other drivers who have been in close contact with these drivers are being quarantined.
Our South Houston Hauling Division, which provides waste collection services South of 290, up through downtown, and as far south as Missouri City, Texas, has been impacted by these health precautions, this includes our Bay City Hauling Division. All other Divisions of WCA/VF Waste Services will continue to operate business as usual. If your community resides in our South Houston or Bay City Hauling Division’s geographical boundary, it is possible your regular collection services will be temporarily affected. We are confident our collection crews will be back to full staffing shortly and any service disruption will be minimal.
Effective August 10, 2020 – WCA is not making changes to curbside service. However, you may experience delays with your regular curbside service.
Effective August 10, 2020 – WCA is suspending recycle service currently.
Effective August 10, 2020 – WCA is suspending bulk service currently.
Please note that any suspended services will not be made up or pushed to another service day.
WCA Waste services made these decisions in furtherance of our health and safety commitment to our community and the WCA family. We thank you for your partnership and for your patience and continued trust in WCA/VF Waste Services.
