Boulevard Fence Replacement Project Phase I and Phase II – Update

Barring any unanticipated circumstances, the District anticipates approving the plans and authorizing the District’s Landscape Architect to publicly bid Phase I of the fence replacement project at a special Board of Directors meeting scheduled for May 21, 2018, at 5:30 p.m., and reviewing the bids and, as appropriate, awarding the contract at the June 13, 2018 regular Board meeting. Assuming that the contract is awarded, as anticipated, at the June 13th meeting, the District expects the work to commence in approximately mid-July. This proposed schedule is subject to change.

As the District works on defining a sequencing schedule once a contract has been awarded for Phase I of this project, updated information will be posted on the District’s website and provided to property owners who are directly impacted. At their May 9, 2018 regular meeting, the Board authorized a proposal from the District’s Landscape Architect to begin the design of Phase II of the fence replacement project (see purple areas identified in map below). Survey work for this phase of the project is expected to begin in the near future.
